ADT Fidelity Donates Car Remote Jamming Detecting Devices to Bryneven

On behalf of the Bryneven Community, we would like to thank ADT Fidelity Services who, with the assitance from Mrs R Thomas (a parent of Bryneven), were able to donate a number of car remote jamming detecting devices to Bryneven. These devices have been installed around the main parking areas along Ballina and Bantry roads. They operate by detecting if there has been an attempt to jam a car’s remote and sets off an alarm siren from inside the school (positioned close to the fence near the parking) alerting drivers to a possible jamming atttempt. If you have parked your vehicle and after trying to arm your car’s alarm and hear a siren sounding, please go back and physically check that your car remote has armed your vehicle’s alarm system and locked the doors before proceeding.
