Action Netball
Well, done to Genevieve Lea (Gr 7) who was a member of the U13A North Western Gauteng Netball Team which played teams from all over the country in the Action Netball Inter-Provincial Netball Tournament (IPT’s) in Centurion at the end March. She won a gold medal for the 2nd year running.

Regional Swimming and SA Biathlon
Congratulations to Jemma Hodgkinson (Gr 6) who took part in the SA Regional level 2 swimming gala in the holidays. She swam in 13 races, received 3 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals in the finals. She achieved 3 times in 6 of her races and swam PB’s in every race, to finish as the highest points scorer in her age group. Jemma continued to shine as she took part in the SA Biathlon Competition held in Oudsthoorn in March. She ran and swam PB’s to finish 14th out of 70 athletes, and was the highest points for Central Gauteng in the under 13 age group.

SA Regional level 2 Swimming championships
Congratulations to Meshaylin Moodley (Gr 7) who participated in the SA Regional level 2 championships from the 29th March until 1st April 2026 achieving new PBs’ in all the races he participated in.
He swam 200IM, 200 Backstroke, 200 Freestyle, 200 Breaststroke, 100m Breaststroke,50 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle

Gauteng Regional Swimming
Well done to Carter Watson (Gr 5) who participated in the Gauteng Regional Swimming Champs held recently. It was extremely competitive with a number of other regions and countries participating in the gala. There were swimmers from Zimbabwe, Limpopo as well as Botswana. Each event had between 70-80 boys swimming in heats against each other and only the top 10 times making the Finals in the afternoon/evening.
