On Wednesday, 25 February, we will observe International Stand Up to Bullying Day.

Learners are invited to come to school dressed in orange and blue. Orange symbolises standing up against bullying, while blue represents Bryneven.
There will be no charge for wearing orange and blue on this day.

On Sunday, 22 February 2026, Scouts and Scouting volunteers around the world celebrated Founder’s Day, commemorating the birthday of the founder of the Scout Movement, Robert Baden-Powell.

In South Africa, events took place over the weekend of 21–22 February to recognise the achievements of our Meerkats, Cubs, Scouts, Rovers, and dedicated adult volunteers who work tirelessly to be prepared and to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
