National Prepared Reading Competition hosted by the South African Literacy Association

In the first term, our English and Afrikaans Department held auditions for the National Prepared Reading Competition, hosted by the South African Literacy Association (SALA).
We are pleased to announce the top two learners from each grade who have been selected to represent our school at the Regional and Provincial Rounds of the National Prepared Reading Competition.

In the English Home Language Category, we congratulate the following learners:

• Grade Four: Illeney De Klerk and Ngcebo Twala
• Grade Five: Kriti Babu and Divan Gevers
• Grade Six: Hailee Govender and Dylanne Prevost
• Grade Seven: Hasinah Battey and Yusuf Abrahams

In the Afrikaans First Additional Language Category, we congratulate the following learners:

• Grade Four: Matthew Watson and Sebastian Le Roux
• Grade Five: Hayley Harrison and Divan Gevers
• Grade Six: Trisveera Maharaj and Anneke Pretorius
