Congratulations to Zach April (Grade 7A) who was selected by Swimming South Africa to attend the High-Performance Squad: Training Camp & SSA Grand Prix #1 – Mbombela from 7th to 10th January 2026.

Zach continued to shine in the water. He swam in the Open Water competition that took place over the weekend of the 17 January 2026. His race time for 3km was 55 mins. What a great swim, Zach!

Congratulations to Alessandro Masselli (Grade 5C) for his achievements at the Central Gauteng Aquatics (CGA) Championships that was held at the end of November last year, where he represented Aqua Athlete Swimming Club in the Boys 10 & Under category.

Alessandro delivered a consistently strong performance across multiple events, finishing within the top ten in every race except one.

A highlight of the gala was Alessandro’s bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke. We are extremely proud of his efforts. Well done, Alessandro!
