Dear Bryneven Parents and Community,

The SGB wishes all the staff, parents, and learners a relaxing and safe holiday and we look forward to seeing you all in the new year. We wish our Christian families a Merry Christmas.

This is also a time where we say goodbye to teachers who have served Bryneven with dedication and commitment over the years. Thank you for your service, Amanda Botes and Louriska Schlebusch. We wish you well in your new adventures and want you to know that you will be missed!

To the Grade 7 class of 2022: Congratulations! You have given your best, formed lasting bonds, and have left your mark as the outgoing class. We are confident you leave Bryneven Primary School with the values instilled in you by our talented staff and your families. You have a solid platform from which to build on. Everything of the best for the adventures ahead!

Our world has returned to normalcy in many areas post COVID, but certain boundaries and regulations are still in play in the school environment. It is our wish that 2023 will be the year where the school spirit of community will once again flourish with parents and learners connecting across all areas – academic, sport, and social. As an SGB, we are looking forward to connecting more in 2023.. The fundraising sub-committee of the SGB, headed by the phenomenal Josephine Tshabalala, deserves a special mention.

Your efforts, time, and energy are appreciated, and we thank you for working so hard to build connection and community at the school while always focused on ensuring only the best for our learners. Our thanks go to Mr. Nakooda, Mrs. Kotze, the senior management team, and the teachers of Bryneven for their ongoing dedication, commitment, and efforts in delivering a high standard of education to our children.

The results, both academic and across various sporting disciplines, is a testament to your dedication. We would also like to take this opportunity to appreciate the efforts of all the employees working in the background to ensure Bryneven runs like a well-oiled machine.

See you all in the New Year!
