Growing Strong Foundations Since 2001

The Bryneven Grade R Centre first opened its doors on Monday, 15 January 2001, with just 36 eager young learners.
More than two decades later, we proudly offer three vibrant Grade R classes, led with dedication and care by our Grade Head and class teacher, Mrs Helen Herdman.

At Bryneven Grade R, we believe in strong partnerships with parents to support the growth of confident, well-rounded and happy children, ready to thrive in the years ahead.

We are loved

Our teachers are caring, supportive, and respectful. They understand each child’s unique needs and create a warm, nurturing environment where learners feel safe, valued, and inspired. Through encouragement and thoughtful guidance, they make every day a meaningful step in our learning journey.

We are prepared

Our classrooms are equipped with excellent resources, including interactive Smartboards that make learning engaging and dynamic. Learners are introduced to foundational Cami, Robotics, and STEM concepts through hands-on, age-appropriate activities. Our well-rounded curriculum ensures each child is confidently prepared for the transition to “big school.”
