Last term a number of our football team made it to the latter stages of the Discovery Joburg KO Cup competition with 5 teams competing in the semi-final stages (the most teams from all the schools competing) and 3 teams making it through to the Final match for their age group.

Our Under 9 boys’ team competed in their very first year of the competition and finished as runners-up after a tough match. Our Open girls’ team had to wait to play their match this term due a technical issue with the lights on the night of their scheduled final and narrowly lost 2-1 to a team that did not have the school break interrupt their preparations.

Our Under 11 girls’ team (the defending champions from last year) dominated in their final match winning 2-0 to retain the title of ‘Champions of Joburg’ for the second year in a row. We are extremely proud of all the achievements of our teams.
