Bryneven Netball and Six a side Soccer Tournament 2023
Bryneven hosted our Annual Netball and Six-a-side Soccer Tournament on Saturday, 06 May. It was a huge success with a large number of compliments received from the visiting schools’ staff and parents.
The participating schools in our Tournament were Bryneven Primary, Bryandale Primary, Bryanston Primary and Montrose Primary. Well done and a huge thank you to Mr Naicker and the staff of Bryneven for a successful tournament.
Bryneven also had cause to celebrate our results with three of our Netball teams making the Finals, as well as four of our Soccer teams making it to the finals. Two of our Netball teams won the Silver medals and our Open Team – ‘The Bryneven Strelitzias’ won the gold medal in their final.
We had two of our soccer teams winning the Silver medals and two teams – the U9 ‘Bryneven Barcelona’ and the Open ‘Bryneven Pirates’ teams winning the Gold in their finals. Bryneven Primary also won the Overall Soccer Trophy with Bryandale picking up the Netball award.

This year we had JB Active sponsoring the players of the tournament in each of the sports and age divisions. The winners of this category won a R500 voucher which can be redeemed at JB Active based in Fourways.
